OUR VISION
Making you a faster and safer racer
The Flying Lap app was the starting point and base technology to deliver on our augmented reality in-helmet display. This display along with in-helmet audio and artificial intelligence provides real-time information on race statistics, car performance, and coaching (e.g. apex speeds, racing line).
Safety is our top priority as we continue to build custom hardware that is suited to the extremes of motorsport. We continue to test hardware and are always interested to talk to partners in this space.
Testing heads up display prototypes @ Indycar Firestone Grand Prix, Laguna Seca
In
In September 2023, we tested several prototypes of the helmet heads-up display during the Blue Marble Radical Cup, as part of the Indycar Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey.
This testing in a live professional race environment provided critical feedback to aid the future development of the heads-up display.
Two prototypes were tested, a custom-designed bird-bath optics visor-mounted device based on Sony micro OLED technology. Second, we tested the latest wave of AR glasses, putting the Xreal Air to the test.
